Mass Effect 2: Steam Pre-Order Download Ready

Can't wait to get at least something to do with Mass Effect 2 on your PC? Calm down. You can either control yourself or you can head to Steam and download the game now. It won't actually be active until January 28th of course.

I've pre-purchased "Mass Effect 2 Digital Deluxe Edition" on Steam. Today is 2010-01-19. Under "My games" in Steam, Mass Effect 2 is listed as "Not yet released".
I have pre-purchased games in the past and had Steam download them before the actual release date. So far, this is NOT the case for Mass Effect 2.
Either one of us is a special case, or your assertion that Mass Effect 2 will predownload is incorrect.

Because this might still be confusing people: Mass Effect 2 IS a go to pre-download in the USA. If you are having trouble, you MUST restart Steam to allow it to patch

Dude, i got the same "deluxe version" as he did, with the weapons, armor, everything, from steam, and you can play it on the 26th, i pre-downloaded it on the 23rd, and it took 20gigs T_T
