Valve's pushed out some news regarding the latest slice or gouge of DownLoadable content for Left4Dead2. It's called 'The Passing', it's set in the state of Georgia within the 'Dead Center' (sic) campaign and it features characters from the original game as well as the four from the new one.
The co-op DLC comes with Survival, Versus and Scavenge modes, and a "co-operative challenge mode" ('Capture the Brain', we're guessing!).
Doug Lombardi, VP of marketing at Valve, says "The Passing will become the most important campaign in the Left 4 Dead story, as all the Survivors are being called together in one campaign.
"It will also be a huge offering of new gameplay content, with something new for every game mode plus a new uncommon common and weaponry."
It's due in "early 2010" for Xbox 360 and PC.
