Nokia, which predicted last year that the mobile games market would decline by 10% (no matter what the iPhone might be doing) has closed its Vancouver-based 'Design Studio' for N-Gage game development. Says Develop, this could mean that 100 jobs are lost.
Having locked the doors of the offices on June 30th, Nokia itself has no comment to make on the future of the employees. That said, the company announced in March this year that 1,700 jobs would be going across its businesses.
