In a stunning and amazing turnaround, Project Gotham, the Xbox version of what is essentially Metropolis Street Racer, will feature full car damage. This is a first for the industry in recent times and may mark the start of something that has been needed for a long time now: car companies not being so pathetic when it comes to the presentation of their cars.
It would seem that Bizarre Creations, the UK based developer has managed to get around this and has signed up everyone from Mazda to Ferrari to allow the player to smash up their cars whilst haring around the streets of some of the world’s most famous cities.
The only games in which car damage has been permitted of late have been rally games and touring car games, as it would seem that car damage is inevitable in these sports.
