Crazy Taxi for GameCube rumoured
There are strong rumours emanating from Japan that Acclaim is in the process of porting Sega’s fantastic Crazy Taxi over to GameCube.

Furthermore, it is expected that the game will be a launch title for Nintendo’s new games handbag when it is released in the States later this year.

“We cannot confirm or deny anything with regards to the Crazy Taxi property at this time,” said an Acclaim spokesman. “Sega has put no strict limitations on what it wants to do with the game so there is an open book. At present there is no announcement regarding any new platforms for Crazy Taxi. We will be releasing various Crazy Taxi information at E3 in May.”

Crazy Taxi as a GameCube launch title? This gaming world just gets stranger and stranger doesn’t it?

It is also expected that Acclaim will release Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2, Extreme G3, NFL Quarterback and All-Star Baseball 2002 for GameCube this year.
