It’s fair to say that Valve’s
Orange Box is one of the greatest bundles of amazingly-priced quality gaming pleasure ever released. It's also fair to say that was the most enormous bunch of hyperbole ever written, ever in the history of ever...ever, so now we'll breathe in and continue in more objective vein.
You can now pre-order Orange Box from Valve’s Steam download service and get an extra $5 (£2.50) off the asking price of $49.95 (a mere £25).
Orange Box features – breathe in -
Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Team Fortress 2 and
Portal. Phew!
What’s more, if you pre-order
Orange Box on Steam ready for the 10th October activation date – you will also be able to play the
Team Fortress 2 beta as of next week on the 17th September.
Alternatively you might want to wait for the 360 version of
Orange Box which launches in Europe on Friday 12th October, or wait even longer for the PS3 version which is set to launch later in October.
