Sony To Reveal New Online Game In Vegas
Sony Online Entertainment is set to reveal a new online MMO at its annual Fan Faire event in Las Vegas this weekend.

SOE's president, John Smedley (or 'Smed' to his mates), will unveil the game to an expected 1,000 MMO fans during his opening words at the event on Friday. Attendees will get a first crack at demoing the game.

Beyond that, little is known about the game except that it will be released later in August.

Online registration is now closed for Fan Faire. If you're lucky enough to live in the sunny Las Vegas area, however, walk-in registration will be available for the four-day event from 4pm local time on Thursday.

The last new title announced by Sony Online Entertainment was the superb-looking spy-based The Agency, which Sony hopes will push the envelope in terms of genre in the MMO world. SPOnG isn't expecting anything of that size from the weekend's announcement with the title's release so close, but keep your eyes cast this way for more details as they emerge.

I'd like to see someone come up with a game or program that teaches users of the Internet how to use correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. Eventually perhaps forum posts and blogs will be readable and understandable, rather than the rabid nonsensical rantings of pissed-up mentalists.
