Voice Actor Tout Sheet Titles Two Games
Voice talent actor Robert Atkin-Downes has inadvertently let slip the name of two major next-gen projects, in news that should come as a collective hug for games sites around the world as we once again shame journalists in every other sector with our inability to miss even the slightest detail.

Atkin-Downes' biggest projects to date are Prince of Persia 2, the gig that stuck him on the games map, and the in-development Gears of War. His latest resume offers a glimpse into two other games he's been involved with, Big from Naughty Dog and Parable for Vivendi.

When pushed on Big, SCEA simply said, "Big is an internal name for the Naughty Dog PlayStation 3 title. We will be announcing the official name in the near future."

The Vivendi title is a little more mysterious however. Little detail has been established on the game to date, though fansite MaxPS3 comments, "...what is known are the names of the three characters Downes voices: Gaius Cassius, Goliath, and Narrator. While Narrator doesn’t give us much insight, the other two do. Gaius Cassius seems to me to be obviously Roman. Cassius was one of the assassins of Julius Caesar along with the more well known Brutus. The assassination took place on the Ides of March, 44B.C. giving us a possible time in which the game takes place. Of course the other name, Goliath, gives us a different time frame of nearly 1,000 years previous. Goliath, the Philistine giant, who according the Biblical accounts was defeated by David; I am sure everyone knows the story."

We'll try and bring you more on both games as we soon as we can. For reference, Big is expected to be detailed at Leipzig next week, with a full showing at this year's TGS.

Yes, we hope as much as you do that it's a spin-off from the Tom Hanks classic.

I like that it's German poster and not an English one.
