May 27th 2005 - Invictus Games and Project Three Interactive today released the highly
anticipated final demo of their upcoming race simulator Cross Racing Championship 2005.
In CRC 2005 the player will be able to drive ultra realistic race cars in a wide variety of racing
classes: Autocross, Rally Cross, Off-Road, Rally-Sprint, Rally, Road Racing and Circuit Racing.
CRC 2005 will appeal to both rally fans and road-racing fans with its crossover approach to
vehicles and race circuits.
Raymond Snippe, Development and PR Executive said: "Project Three and Invictus Games
have been working closely on CRC 2005 for the past few months, making sure all comments,
feedback and wishes from the CRC 2005 community were mixed into the equation. We are
very pleased with the result and look forward to the reactions from the CRC community."
Gabor Simon, Programmer at Invictus Games added: "The game and overall gameplay have
changed a lot since the Hungarian release of the tech-demo. The handling and behaviour of
the cars are much more realistic now, and so are the tracks and environments. Cars are just
handling and responding way better. In addition, we fine-tuned the tyres and varied the road
surfaces to make the races faster, and in some cases harder."
The demo weighs about 130MB and supports both single and multiplayer. Play over the Net
using 'All Seeing Eye' or use the ingame serverbrowser for playing over a LAN.
