IN-FUSIO, a leading mobile games publisher and game service provider, today announced that the handset manufacturer LG Electronics has selected its EGE (Entertainment and Gaming Extensions) solution to be embedded in its multi-media handsets across Europe.

The first EGE-enabled handsets from LG Electronic are scheduled to launch across Europe end of Q2 2005. Under the agreement, operators, who wish to capitalise on EGE's unique entertainment and gaming features, can request that LG Electronics embeds the solution during manufacture.

IN-FUSIO has simultaneously announced that the Orange Group is the first operator to take EGE as its preferred mobile entertainment solution. More operators are expected to follow Orange's lead in the coming months.

Gilles Raymond, founder and co-CEO, IN-FUSIO, said: "We are in advanced negotiations with a number of top-tier handset manufacturers and operators to specify EGE as their preferred gaming and entertainment solution. We welcome the Orange Group's decision to commit to EGE and we are really thrilled to partner, for the first time, LG Electronics, whose handsets are proven to be of outstanding quality. We look forward to a longstanding relationship with LG Electronics."
