Have you got what it takes to become an International Track & Field champion? Top PS2 athletes can now check out how they measure up at www.itfworldranking.kceo.com.

With the release of the highly acclaimed ESPN International Track & Field on PlayStation 2 on December 8th, players all over the globe can directly compare personal records.

The road to glory isn't easy though. Anyone hoping to secure a place in the world-wide hall of fame must first complete ten action-packed disciplines in Championship Mode. Whether playing alone or against friends, the computer then gives you a password according to your individual score.

Once you've collected your password head straight to www.itfworldranking.kceo.com and register to the hall of fame. As well as the ranking for the best player world wide, there's also a special Atlantic and Pacific rating system.

ESPN International Track & Field for PlayStation 2 offers stunningly realistic sports events, and whether your playing classics like the 100 metres, long jump and weight lifting, or trying new disciplines such as rhythmic gymnastics and clay pigeon shooting, the gameplay is equally challenging.

More than 700 motion captured movements have gone into the making of International Track & Field from athletes including gold-medallist and 100 m world record holder Maurice Green, silver-medallist Ato Boldon and US pole vault champion Jeff Hartwig and the detail even extends to facial animations. Unique controller techniques are also used to make each event as realistic as possible.

ESPN International Track and Field will be released by Konami on Playstation 2 on December 8th.
