IOMO takes the Asian mobile games market by storm.

Mobile game developer IOMO today reported the first results for its games in Asia where they are proving to be just as popular and widely played as they are in Europe.

The company has launched it's range of games in seven Asian territories: China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and India.

The IOMO titles have proven very popular in all of the above territories. Snooker and Pool are popular sports throughout Asia and the IOMO titles Pub Pool and Steve Davis Snooker have become some of the top selling titles on operators in these territories.

China Mobile awarded Steve Davis Snooker a score of 100% and it raced to the top of their sales charts the same day it was launched. The operator also offers other IOMO titles including SuperBlocBloc, Magnetron, Enigma, Quarantine and Badger Bash, all of which are selling well.

Chunghwa Telecom (CHT) and iaSolutions in Taiwan, have organised a major promotion for Steve Davisw Snooker in mid-July. Steve Davis himself will be in the country to play the game, talk to the media and launch a competition to win exclusive signed prizes. CHT and other Taiwanese operators including , TCC (Taiwan Cellular) TAT (TransAsia) or FET (Far EasTone) also offer other IOMO titles such as Magnetron, Santa Bash, Enigma, Badger Bash, Quarantine, Superblocbloc, Pursuit Squad, Rad Racer, Picasso and Snowed Under, giving the company a great deal of exposure in the active Taiwanese market.

Orange is the exclusive distributor of Steve Davis Snooker in Thailand. The company launched it's 'Game World' -portal on July 2nd, with Steve Davis Snooker as one of the lead titles. Thai Operator DTAC provides other IOMO titles Pub Pool, Pursuit Squad and Rad Racer.

Operators in Singapore including M1 and Starhub are selling IOMO's Pub Pool game, which is reported to be selling well.

IOMO also distributes through Telkomsel in Indonesia and Maxis in Malaysia to provide a range of games to mobile phone owners in those countries.
