Role-playing and strategy gaming fans have a unique type of gaming experience to look forward to with Kingdom Under Fire, the new title from Phantagram. Kingdom Under Fire is an intense and intricate game which delivers a perfect blend of real-time strategy, fast-paced action, resource management and role-playing elements for the gaming connoisseur.
Seven heroes feature in Kingdom Under Fire, six of them under your control a massive real-time strategy environment. Each of the six heroes also takes a starring role in their own role-playing scenario, where much of the story behind Kingdom Under Fire unfolds, and in which you'll have the chance to develop his character, personality and build up his experience and skills.
In the real-time strategy campaign, you'll be called upon to build up your community and power-base, using the manpower at your disposal as your community grows. You'll be called upon to defend your people from frequent attack and you'll be glad of the many types of warrior portrayed in Kingdom Under Fire: the action in battle is pulsatingly fast and often brutal.
In the role-playing missions, the experience and magical powers gained by your heroes will be carried over into the next part of the game, thus strengthening your hand considerably. In order to complete the entire single-player game, you'll need to bring each hero through his own role-playing mission successfully.
The stunning fast-action graphics are created using high quality animated sprites. Advanced lighting effects and detailed backdrops perfectly capture the dark atmosphere of foreboding which pervades the world of Kingdom Under Fire.
Kingdom Under Fire is also a strong multi-player game, with its own dedicated server, WarGate.net, available worldwide. Players can challenge each other to play various different types of game including deathmatch, hero strategy and hero RPG modes, with up to eight players in any one game.
