The Cucurotheatro, Magical Puppeteers – The Tribe of Carnelian Gaze.
They were born under a different Law of Life from the humans, possessed of crimson eyes and the eternal power to detect ‘Magic Jewels’, the vehicle of this world’s spiritual energies. Using the Jewels, the Magical Pupeteers perfected the art of infusing lifeless dolls with a soul. The dolls, called Magical Puppets, grew with each jewel given to them and came to achieve physiques to rival a monster’s.
Only the chosen – known as ‘Magical Puppet Masters’ – among the ranks of the Cucurotheatro could control the dolls, which came to be called ‘Magical Puppet Monsters’, or Mappemon.. The Mappemon fought with the rest as sacred beings in the Goddess War, but when the war ended, the Cucurotheatro disappeared from sight without explanation. With the passage of time, the knowledge of the mythical Cucurotheatro faded away from human memory.
This story is a tale about a boy with Crimson Eyes…….
Game Content
Eternal Eyes is a role playing game based around the life of a young boy known as Luca. Early on in the story Luca learns that he, like his father before him, has the power to control and animate puppets through the use of Jewels.
With the aid of these Mappemon and his friends, Luca must embark upon an epic quest to thwart the plans of the evil General Vorless, the main protagonist in the game, and his henchmen, who plan to reawaken the Goddess.
With a storyline supervised by Kenji Terada, one of the creators of Final Fantasy I,II and III expect a highly engrossing plot line.
