Bringing innovative tactical play to strategy gaming, Perimeter will be the first RTS title to give players the ability to instantly transform combat troops, through the game's use of nanomorph technology, when the sci-fi strategy title launches on May 21st exclusively for PC.
Nanomorph technology enables Perimeter players to instantly combine and transform basic units into specialist combat units. Players can morph units while engaged in combat to suit any attack scenario.

Perimeter begins with three basic types of units available: Soldiers, Officers, and Technicians. Using energy, extracted from each planet's surface, these can be morphed together in various combinations to create units with specific combat techniques, providing players with powerful tactical opportunities to adapt their units to a particular situation.
Plan tactically how you'd attack your opponent: If you're approaching an enemy base with 30 basic Soldiers and a wave of enemy troops are sent to engage you, immediately combine and transform your Soldiers into 10 rocket units for a fierce battle.
However, your adversary may raise his Perimeter force shield, so with some reinforcements morph your units into Leeches, which attack by draining power reserves thereby disabling the enemy's Perimeter. With the enemy exposed once again, retreat back and convert troops to long range bombardiers, such as Wargon Tanks, and once all the fixed defences are decimated, morph to Snipers to mop up what's left and be victorious!
As the much-anticipated science fiction RTS title from Russian publisher 1C Company and developer KD-LAB, Perimeter has already received great recognition including winning the "Best PC Game" and "Best Game Design" awards at the Russian Game Developers Conference. Codemasters will publish Perimeter for PC on May 21st and for the latest videos, including the nanomorph technology movie, see the website at www.codemasters.co.uk/perimeter
