Outstanding Practice Awards
Specialist driving game developer, Eutechnyx Limited received the prestigious Outstanding Practice Award for a Medium Sized Enterprise at the recent Investors in People Awards, sponsored by the Learning and Skills Council and Business Link.

The company, who employs in excess of 70 specialist graduate development staff, was recognized for providing outstanding implementation of the Investors in People Standard (IiP) since receiving Investors in People status in 2002.

Eutechnyx Limited remains the only video game developer ever to achieve IiP status and it did so in a record two weeks.

Eutechnyx has recently gone through a period of rapid expansion increasing it's workforce by almost 50% in the past 12 months, with the principles of IiP proving invaluable in managing this period of rapid growth.

Darren Jobling, Business Development Director at Eutechnyx commented, "IiP was only the beginning for Eutechnyx. Since then we have been able to further develop our HR strategy to assist in accelerated development and training of graduate members of staff, to ensure everyone can reach their full potential".

Dan Brophy, Chief Executive of Business Link added, ''We are delighted that we have been able to assist Eutechnyx in achieving their award. Not only is their investment in people outstanding but also their consistency of creativity and dynamism with which they have developed the business.''

Eutechnyx Limited has an exciting year ahead. The team are currently developing a street racing game, “SRS”, for Namco, and one of the company's most successful games Big Mutha Truckers has just been nominated for a BAFTA Award for its Full Motion Video Intro Movie, to be announced later this month.
