Based in Warrington, Cheshire the development company already numbers 20 people working on games across console, PC, mobile and iDTV platforms. The team has been together for at least six years working under the guises of DID and most recently as Rage’s renowned Warrington Studio. As well as their anticipated official Lamborghini game, the team’s catalogue includes such acclaimed titles as ‘EF2000’, ‘F22 ADF’, GTC Africa and ‘Eurofighter Typhoon’.

Colin Bell, formerly Rage’s Group Development Director, now Juice Games Managing Director commented, “We have worked hard to build a new company around an established team of experienced and enthusiastic individuals. In just a few months we have secured funding, created new cross-platform technologies and secured several contracts. In doing so we have created the basis for a major new developer in the North West.”

As well as console development Juice Games boasts an already profitable Mobile and Interactive TV division headed up by Online Manager Tim Preece. Tim’s CV includes stints at DID, ICL and Rage as well as developing the WWW technology behind the studio's innovative online racing game, 'eRacer'. The team have already completed an Interactive TV game for Littlewoods based on the phenomenally popular ‘I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here’ and two games in multiple languages for a leading mobile handset manufacturer. “There is tremendous potential in mobile and TV gaming and we aim to become a leading supplier of entertainment products in the market”, Tim said.

Juice Games’ Studio Manager, Don Whiteford, started his career in advertising becoming a creative director on multinational accounts like Philips and Tulip Computers. After joining DID in 1994 Don oversaw the production of the company’s prestigious air combat products before moving to Rage. “Our artists and programmers are a well established team, responsible for a range of respected products for PS2, Xbox and PC. It’s been a busy and exciting time getting Juice Games off the ground, and from scratch we have designed and implemented an impressive new approach to developing high quality games.”

Juice Games will be announcing a major console development deal in the near future.
