Ubisoft and Sony Online Entertainment sign an exclusive publishing deal for PlanetSide: Core Combat.

Ubisoft, one of the world's largest video game publishers today announced that it is has signed an exclusive agreement with Sony Online Entertainment to publish PlanetSide: Core Combat, the first expansion for the popular massively multiplayer online first-person action game, PlanetSide. PlanetSide has already attracted more than 60,000 subscribers worldwide. The expansion will focus on alien technology discovered deep in underground caverns, adding more vehicles, weapons and battlegrounds under the planet Auraxis. PlanetSide: Core Combat will be released on the 21st November 2003.
