Konami, the top Japanese games company responsible for the intense horror adventure Silent Hill, is readying a brand new action game that'll have PlayStation and Dreamcast gamers playing from behind their sofas.

Launching in September, Nightmare Creatures 2 promises a cast of demonic creatures in an immersive experience with the emphasis on action.

Not for the faint hearted, Nightmare Creatures 2 captures the nerve-
tingling excitement of the original but creates a whole new adventure for the player. With a game world ten times the size of the original, the action takes gamers through London's streets and onward into Paris where this ghost train of a game makes stops in museums, cemeteries, through the famous
catacombs and eventually on to the Eiffel Tower.

Nightmare Creatures 2 may be set in a different century, but the evil that
stalked London a hundred years ago in the first Nightmare Creatures game has returned. It's 1934 and Dr. Adam Crowley, the demonic scientist defeated by Ignatius Blackward in the original, has risen from the dead and is even more
powerful than his first incarnation.

Gamers take on the role of Herbert Wallace, who has escaped from Crowley's lair where he had spent several gruesome months as one of the scientist's test subjects for his fiendish experiments. After countless lab experiments, torture
and pain, Wallace is ready to settle the score in the ultimate display of revenge.

To effectively combat Dr. Crowley and his hideous creatures, Wallace has the ability to use new fighting techniques and special moves. In addition, Wallace has a large range of power ups and spells at his disposal. Dr. Crowley is no
pushover though: he plans to merge his powers with those of an ancestral entity and cover the world in his dark influence.

With an action packed 30 game sectors, over 20 different creatures and a number of highly original power-ups and spells at your disposal, it's up to you, Wallace to stop Dr Crowley achieving his demented plan.

Developed by Kalisto Entertainment, and rated 15, Konami will publish Nightmare Creatures 2 on PlayStation and Dreamcast in September 2000.
