Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the world's leading video game publishers, is proud to announce strong sales for Rayman3: Hoodlum Havoc. The title ranks number one for Game Boy Advance sales in France, Germany and the United Kingdom* and number two for Nintendo GameCube sales in France and Germany*.
Meanwhile, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell is number one on PC in France and number two in the United Kingdom, Germany and Spain*. Named Console Game of the Year by the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences, Splinter Cell has performed extremely well since its initial console release.
The PlayStation 2 version of the game is available in the UK as of tomorrow, March 28, and is greatly anticipated.
"We're riding the top of the sales charts for Rayman and Splinter Cell," says Alain Corre, managing director for Europe, the Asia-Pacific region and South America, "and it's thanks to the innovative spirit and know-how of our in-house development teams, our comprehensive distribution network and dynamic marketing activities. There is no doubt about it: both of these Ubi Soft blockbusters not only meet but surpass the ever-increasing standards of today's players. This is the first time we've simultaneously led the market around the globe on all formats and it feels great. It's increasingly clear that our strategy is right on target, taking us both upward and outward."
