LOS ANGELES — May 11, 2000 — Mattel Interactive, leading publisher and developer of home entertainment software today announced its Mattel Wheels division’s 2000 line-up of titles. The division encompasses Mattel’s award winning Hot Wheels, Tyco and Matchbox properties and brings racing excitement to all major platforms. Mattel Interactive plans to broaden it's audience by taking advantage of the popularity of PlayStation and Game Boy Color and will provide players of all ages a memorable racing or building experience.

We have accepted the challenge of creating exciting racing titles across all platforms and have extended the Mattel brand to a broader audience – young boys, teens and adults,” said Bernard Stolar, president, Mattel Interactive.
Tyco R/C Assault with a Battery:The first Tyco R/C software title, Tyco R/C Assault with a Battery, puts players in control of some of the best-selling, high-performance radio controlled racing vehicles. Gamers use secret moves to unlock each vehicle’s special power to tear through a variety of challenging terrain and obstacles. Racers can play single or multi-player and can select from five modes including battle and championship mode and from five richly-detailed 3D environments.
Tyco R/C: Assault with a Battery is scheduled to be available in Q4 2000 for PlayStation.
Tyco R/C Racin’ Ratz:They’re quick and they’re looking for trouble. Tyco R/C Racin’ Ratz is the first Game Boy title with RAT-itude! The new title lets players experience all the scorching speed and cool

Hot Wheels Stunt Track Driver 2:The excitement of Hot Wheels Stunt Track Driver goes outside. Gamers can explore multiple terrains including water, mud and dirt with 12 different Hot Wheels cars that show the damage of hazardous driving on the PC. Drivers can experience three modes of racing and stunt driving including a World Championship mode, Pick-a-track and Build-a-track – creating their own track for the ultimate stunt track driving experience.
Hot Wheels Stunt Track Driver 2 is scheduled to be available in Q4 2000 for the PC.
Hot Wheels Jetz:Hot Wheels Jetz delivers flying excitement on the PC. Jetz is a flight simulation game where players fly a toy-sized plane through life-sized environments including the bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. Players must complete ten missions in eight different environments in order to save the collection of toys from destruction. Gamers choose from 15 aircraft to achieve their goals through two modes of play including a free flight mode in which players plan their own missions.
Hot Wheels Jetz is scheduled to be available in Q2 2001 for the PC.
Hot Wheels Slot Car Racing:Hot Wheels Slot Car Racing allows gamers to choose from 12 different Hot Wheels cars and use up to 16 different pieces to build custom tracks in the ultimate slot car competition. This hybrid PC and peripheral title allows players to connect the game’s slot car controllers into their gameport to race against the computer, or up to four competitors via Internet or LAN, on six different exciting tracks.

Hot Wheels Racing: Williams F1 Team Driver:
Hot Wheels Racing Williams F1 Team Driver is an authentic Formula 1 racing game with a strong international team license and is easier to operate than most racing sims. Kids operate ten different CAT machines to create the ancient Egyptian pyramids, the Great Wall of China, a futuristic moon base and more. Kids can also print out and create 3D paper models of these fantastic monuments.
