Oxfordshire-based software developer, Digital Workshop, launches a new partnership with up-and-coming games developer, Batfish Studios, to introduce a variety of leisure titles, starting with the arcade-style puzzler, Xorb.
Two brothers, Paul Harris, CEO of Digital Workshop and Philip Harris, Managing Director of Batfish Studios have joined forces to launch a series of PC games with the emphasis on gameplay.

"We are focusing on games in the retro tradition, when gameplay was king. These games are easy to pick up and yet are challenging and extremely addictive," said Paul Harris.
"This is an opportunity to produce games with the emphasis on fun, rather than technology and budgets," continued Philip Harris.
In addition, Digital Workshop has purchased a number of high profile licenses recently, so look out for some heavyweight releases too.
Xorb is a highly addictive arcade-style game playable in four different modes and on various skill levels. Set on the energy-starved planet of Leksor Axil, players must send out their xeo to snatch their companions from the jaws of the electroNet or lose them forever to the Tnargent Grix!
