Based on CUBIX - Robots For Everyone, the hot new CGI animated show from 4Kids Entertainment Inc., the Race 'N Robots game will be the first in a series of games based on this new property that will supply high-octane action and adrenaline-packed fun for the entire family.
CUBIX, from 4Kids Entertainment (NYSE: KDE), is the new action-packed adventure series on the Kids WB! Network that's unlike anything currently on TV. CUBIX premiered Saturday, August 11, with outstanding ratings on Kids'WB! The successful series premiere of the animated series CUBIX led Kids'WB! to its highest ratings for 3rd Quarter in all key demos. CUBIX ranked #2 among all competition in Boys 2-11 and finished the morning as the #1 broadcast program in Boys 2-11 and Boys 6-11, and ranked #2 among the broadcast competition in Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11, and Girls 6-11. A national marketing campaign to support CUBIX began this summer with a VHS tape mailing to one million kids in the United States. Also, the first-ever CUBIX Sweepstakes will begin on August 27th to coincide with the national Burger King promotion. The "Win An Ixtreme CUBIX Toy Chest" Sweepstakes will be promoted in 10 million Burger King Kids Club Newsletters and on the official CUBIX website.
Set in the future, CUBIX takes place in Bubble Town where robots are a part of everyday life. The animated series will follow the adventures of a boy named Connor and his robot pal, Cubix, along with a cast of both human and robot friends. They embark on adventures as they attempt to repair damaged robots and ward off their evil nemesis, Dr. K.
The Race 'N Robots game will take players to Bubble Town's racing championships and areas throughout the land in a heated battle to win the final race and defeat Dr. K's converted racer Kolossal. Players can race as their favorite series character including Brutix, Hop2ix, Don-Don, Diagnostix, and, of course, Cubix himself! For a custom feel, gamers can modify and upgrade their rides by purchasing "Grav-grip" to help maneuver through curves, obtaining the "Zero G-engine" to give racers maximum top speed, fine-tune the color of their racer, and much more.
