Tweenies - Doodles' Bones on Game Boy Color is all about the adventures of 'Doodles' - the loveable big red dog from the Tweenies - and the search for his missing bones, buried somewhere in the garden...Max has made a treasure map showing where all of Doodles' bones are buried but the map has been torn up and all the pieces lost! Players get to help the Tweenies find the missing pieces of the map through a series of exciting games and puzzles. Once he has all the pieces, celebrate with Doodles by helping him use the map to locate his buried bones in the garden.

The title features the following games and puzzles, all of which have easy, medium and hard levels

  • Four fantasy world platform game levels - all a race against time!
  • Help Fizz prepare for the Ball at her fantasy castle by making all the flowers bloom with a touch of her wand, but watch out for the spooky ghosts and popping balloons!
  • Bella is in the jungle trying to collect bananas to feed the hungry chimp. Can you find the bananas and avoid the spindly spiders and slithering snakes?
  • Milo the clown is about to go and perform his juggling act but all his skittles have disappeared. He needs to find all his skittles without getting splatted with custard pies...
  • Swim with Jake in his underwater world and collect pretty shells...but watch out for the electric eels that will try to slow you down!

Spin the famous Tweenies clock to choose one of five puzzles!

  • Story Time: Finish your favourite story with Fizz by putting the pictures in the right order. Stories include 'Goldilocks and The Three Bears' and 'Cinderella'.
  • Telly Time: Match the pictures with Milo. Can you match the objects with the pictures that appear on the telly?
  • Song Time: Listen to the tunes with Bella and see if you can repeat them using the special key pad.
  • Messy Time: Jake has to clear up all the clay that has been mixed together by throwing it into the pots. Try to match the colour clay with the right colour pot.
  • Doodles finds his bones!: When you've collected all the pieces of the map, you can finally help Doodles around the garden and look for his buried bones. Hooray!

"This is the first Tweenies Game Boy offering from BBC Multimedia, following on from the hugely successful Tweenies - Ready to Play on PC CD-ROM and Tweenies - Game Time on PlayStation" says Dave Lee, Director of BBC Multimedia. "The title offers children aged 3 and over an experience based on the familiarity of the much-loved BBC television show in a portable format that parents will love! There's a choice of games and puzzles - like Telly Time, Story Time, Messy Time and Song Time - and all are available in easy, medium and hard levels, so children of all abilities are catered for."

A fourth interactive Tweenies title - Tweenies - Play to the Music on PC CD-ROM - is scheduled also for release on 19 October 2001. It comes with a free dance mat and workable microphone!
