Hercules Lends Strength To Sudden Strike Championships
Top-of-the-range graphics accelerators to be won by UK finalists.
CDV Software Entertainment's European Championships based on the blockbuster RTS Sudden Strike is attracting a number of top sponsors from the computer industry.
With over 550 entrants already registered to take part in the Championships, which will start with an online qualifying tournament in August, Hercules has announced that it will be providing three top-of-the-range 3D Prophet III graphic accelerators to the top three contestants in the UK Final, to be held at The Playing Fields on October 7, 2001.
In addition, Hercules will be providing a Fortissimo II sound card and a set of speakers to the three winners, to complete a high performance sound and vision upgrade for their PCs.
The 3D Prophet III is based on the powerful, fully-featured Geforce3 graphics processor from NVIDIA. With 64Mb DDR Ram operating at 460MHz and Hercules' design expertise, the 3D Prophet III is a performance monster which gives the most demanding gamers the opportunity to take advantage of professional graphics rendering.
