LONDON, 19th September 2007

Fast Growing UK publisher, Mercury Games today announces that its partnership with Japanese publisher Ertain is set to be a huge success thanks to the forecasted sensation of Paint by DS. Mercury Games is intending to ship 60,000 units of Paint by DS across Europe and Australia.

Mercury Games and Ertain teamed up to bring the Zen series to the western market. The series has been developed for the busy, modern urbanite to aid relaxation. The Zen series does not contain any violence or competitive elements in is games.

Mercury Games have been able to completely westernise the game, through marketing and packaging. Paint by DS has already been featured in Official Nintendo Magazine’s “Hot 100; the games you must own over the next six months” despite not having been released yet.

Tomo Ohno, Chief Operating Officer, Ertain BV: “The expected success of Paint by DS and the rest of The Zen Games series is evidence that Mercury Games is effective at dealing with Japanese products and companies. Ertain is delighted with the work that Mercury Games has put into westernising the Zen series and we look forward to bringing more games to Europe through our partnership with Mercury Games.”
