MotorStorm: Let the Chaos and Destruction Begin
Racing mayhem and carnage storms onto PLAYSTATION 3
Off-road wars in a race of attrition, speed and spectacular crashes
The perfect vehicle for next generation gaming with stunning HD graphics
The rules of competitive racing have just gone out the window and been run over by a Mudplugger! Welcome to the worlds most brutal off-road racing event, welcome to MotorStorm™ developed exclusively for PLAYSTATION®3 where Mad Max meets Cannon Ball Run head-on.
Forget the world of team and rules. Packed with dirt, chaos and destruction, MotorStorm is the racing game where professionalism is replaced by dirty tricks, aggressive driving and no regard for others. Mud splattered battles through wild and rugged terrains, MotorStorm delivers a driving experience for at least 12 players (online) that will get your heart racing and leave your nerves in tatters.
To make players feel like they are really racing through Monument Valley MotorStorm uses High Definition footage captured from helicopter flights over the valley, high dynamic range lighting and motion blur and depth techniques to faithfully re-create this breathtaking natural landmark. Combined with true next generation physics that make the vehicles behave true to life, MotorStorm is the most attractive action-packed and wreck-strewn motor sport ever created for a game console.
To guarantee players an intense adrenalin rush there are a number of ways to crash – all with a spectacular effect:
It’s a long way down: Watch out for the track boundaries as you could fall or be pushed into deep ravines and off sheer cliff faces
Tumble turns: The harsh terrain is not your friend. Driving over it at speed or the wrong angle can cause your vehicle to flip - as can other debris strewn across the track from previous laps
Feisty opponents: Watch out for aggressive opponents as they try to ram you off the track
Overheating: Tough driving and over using the nitro boost can cause your engine to overheat and explode – you’ve been warned!
