Myst Fans See Clearly

Online insight into the development of Myst III: Exile available to fans worldwide.

With just three months until the world-wide release of Game Studios' Myst III: Exile, an official newsletter and mailing list has been launched online. Updated every fortnight, the Official Myst III: Exile Newsletter will enable the 10 million owners of the previous Myst games – Myst and Riven – to get the inside track on the latest addition to the record-breaking series.

The newsletter can be found at www.learningco.co.uk/myst and users can additionally register for regular updates by submitting their e-mail address. The mailing list will also carry promotions and competitions, enabling fans to get their hands on exclusive merchandise and other goodies.

"The Myst III newsletter is a rare chance for users to have access to the same depth of material usually reserved for the press," says Helen Myers, PR Manager, Game Studios. "With 10 million copies of the games sold worldwide, the global interest is massive – and it's nice to be able to give something back to the fans."

Developed by Presto Studios, Myst III: Exile features five entirely new ages for players to explore and stacks of new mysteries to uncover. Myst III: Exile uses new navigation technology to bring the world alive without losing any of the artistic beauty or interactivity of the previous Myst games. Each location within the game has been rendered in 360 degrees, giving adventures unparalleled freedom within the Myst universe.

Fans will find more of what they love about Myst and Riven, along with a few surprises. By drawing on the history of the series and new technology, Myst III: Exile is a true evolution of the series.
