JoWooD, listed on the Vienna Stock Exchange since June 2000, has opened a branch office in Offenbach, near Frankfurt/Main, Germany. JoWooD Germany will primarily focus on strengthening the marketing of JoWooD's brands in the German market as well as coordinating and administrating JoWooD's development studios, including Massive Development, Neon and Wings Simulations. Furthermore, JoWooD Germany will be responsible for all third-party developers.
Boris Kunkel (33) will be the Managing Director of JoWooD Germany who has been in the industry since 1989. After working for a German developer, he held a management position at Infogrames before becoming the General Manager of NEON Software.
Boris Kunkel will be joined by Esther Manga (28). She will be in charge of public relations for both the special interest and general interest press. Furthermore, Esther manages the coordination of all PR and marketing activities between company headquarters in Austria and Germany.
Furthermore, the quality assurance and customer support for JoWooD will also be based in the Offenbach office.

Infogrames Germany, who currently handle the marketing of JoWooD's products in Germany will continue to distributing all of JoWooD's products and will continue to service all retailers and chains.
