Summary
Larry Probst was recruited into the video game industry through Activision in 1982. In 1984 he joined Electronic Arts as Vice President for sales. Trip Hawkins appointed Larry Probst as CEO of EA in autumn 1991. John Riccitiello took over on April 2, 2007.
On October 2, 2008 Probst was introduced as the chairman of the United states Olympic Committee, replacing Peter Ueberroth,
He holds a Bachelor's degree in business administration from the university of Delaware.
Probst sits on the boards of two cancer research groups; the V Foundation and ABC2. He has a wife, Nancy, and two sons, Scott and Chip.
