Fresh screenshots for Evolution Studios' PS4 debut, DriveClub, have surfaced online - before Polyphony Digital's PS3 driving simulator Gran Turismo 6 has even got its hype tyres warm.

While the internet has taken this screen dump to declare some kind of internal war between Gran Turismo 6 and DriveClub, it's worth pointing out that the two games are obviously serving very different audiences of car racing enthusiasts. Evolution's game director, Matt Southern, declared that DriveClub will offer a "staggeringly immersive and visceral" experience. It's expected to launch with the PS4 later this year.
