Activision has put a price on the Angry Birds trilogy for PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DS and Nintendo 3DS. It's a price that has made some people a teeny bit moany because they can get it cheeper (sic) on smartphone and browser and every-bloody-where-else.USA Today correctly states that, "
Angry Birds,
Angry Birds Seasons and
Angry Birds Rio -- are available on Apple's iPad for a combined $6." It then says how much these three will cost on the platforms we've outlined above:
"The retail release Angry Birds Trilogy will be available this holiday season for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the Nintendo 3DS. The console versions will sell for $39.99, while the 3DS version will sell for $29.99."
This has made some people - who we're not bothering to link to because you can get quite enough Internet whinging without our help - miss the point that the, "disc-based version includes other notable features beyond high-definition visuals, such as support for Microsoft's Kinect motion controls and PlayStation Move.
"The 3DS version will support stereoscopic 3-D and the device's StreetPass feature."
