PlayStation Vita Masters Sent to Japanese Retailers
So, how's that PlayStation Vita thing doing in Japan? Not too well, according to sales data in recent weeks. It's alright though, because Sony has a plan to shift some more units. The company is deploying "PlayStation Vita Masters" to retailers so that they can collar undecided consumers and encourage them to buy one.

These Masters will be spread across various game stores from the 25th February and will hang around until the 1st April - assumedly when Sony makes a big reveal about how the initiative was nothing but an elaborate April Fool's joke. Or maybe not. They'll be on call to explain 3G, non-game applications and peripherals to any confused buyers in the shop.

You can spot these guys a mile off because they'll be wearing black Vita-branded vest shirts. A list of shops where the Masters will reside can be found on its website.
