What do you do when you want to reach a huge teenage audience with your motion-sensing console add-on? You call adolescent heartthrob Justin Bieber, of course! Obviously. Duh.
The video below is from one of these euphoric Bieber fans during a 'high-octane' (that would be the word Disney PR would use, right?) 'heart-stopping' (there's another one - I'm totally in the wrong job here) performance on stage. In between songs, a video plays on screen where the teenager has a little play on Dance Central and Kinect Adventures.
It's incredibly corny, yes. And it's more than likely that the girls in the packed audience were screaming at Justin for Justin's sake, rather than wooing the advanced capturing technology contained within the Xbox 360 peripheral. But you know, subconscious marketing. Could work.
Just brace yourself for an army of pre-pubescent teenage girls screaming down to your headset next time you log into Xbox Live.
