Last week, we told you about
Amazon's fears of PS3 Slim shortages in the US and how the company is limiting orders to one per household. At the time, Amazon's UK arm didn't seem too bothered, but now the company has taken the draconian measure of rationing the console - only a stingy five per household.
Text on the website
reads: "As you may know, this product can sometimes be in great demand, and there can be shortages of this product across the U.K. In an effort to provide as many customers as possible with the opportunity to purchase it, we are limiting the total number of units that can be purchased. As a result, each household may only purchase five units."
Devastating stuff.
