Xbox 360: Metal Gear Solid 4 and the Kill Switch
The Seattle Post Intelligencer (aka, Microsoft Daily) and its 8bitjoystick blogger appear to have gone wild with Xbox 360 madness. Genius satire, drunken ranting or searing insight. If it wasn't coming from the SPI, which occasionally has the inside track, we'd opt for Genius Drunken Satirical Ranting. Basically, what follows - based on an interview with a sacked Xbox 360 hardware/software - who is also anonymous - will certainly set the Internet aflame.

- "There is a super secret kill-switch remote suicide self-destruct command that if Microsoft really wanted to they can remotely trigger and tell an Xbox 360 to fry itself and die."

- Microsoft is testing Metal Gear Solid 4 for the 360. Not any old MGS, but MGS4.

- Microsoft never developed a Blu-ray drive or a mo-sense wand to near marketable quality.

- Apparently, 'The Beetles: Rockband' testing is going well. A new Herbie-based game perhaps?

- "Game developers and publishers can arrange for and purchase compliance wavers from Microsoft if their game does not meet software compliance or Xbox Live Network compliance."

- 8bitjoystick was banned at Microsoft's testing site.

And finally, "They also can kill an Xbox 360 by just thinking about it and typing a command into Xbox Live."

Mmmmm, that last bit Rings true though...

Read it for yourself.
