Set in the weeks following the events depicted in Resistance: Fall of Man, Resistance: Retribution follows the story of former British Marine James Grayson. After a personal tragedy - we are going to try not to give too much away here, but it involves his brother and a Chimeran Conversion Centre - Grayson lights out on a mission to decimate every Conversion Centre he can find. Unfortunately, Grayson eventually finds out that his destructive behaviour has been a futile exercise, as it is revealed to him that in Western Europe, the Chimera have come up with a new way of converting humans to aliens. The European resistance - the Maquis - enlist Grayson's help, and he joins Cartwright and Parker in Operation Overstrike. The war to take back the European continent from the Chimera has begun. << less
