EyeToy Play 3 - PS2
Game Overview
|
Summary
Perhaps SCEEs greatest gift to gaming this generation has been the EyeToy. The glorious gizmo was no flash in the pan, either, and Sony boffins have continued to bring new ideas to the table. Dancing, hoverboard, espionage and exercise games have all been released to the delight of those who have fallen for the gadget. This week sees the release of the third in the Play series, which concerns itself with providing a selection of varied games for the photo gamer to enjoy.
The boffins at SCEEs London Studio never rest and now they present to you EyeToy Play 3, in which twelve of their latest creations await your attention. Its more all inclusive than ever before, with games now offering action for up to four players, and those lurking in the background can get in on the action by picking up a controller. And the range of games you can play just keeps getting wider.
Play volleyball with a friend on your team, against CPU opponents or real people, evade a whole American football team to score a winning touchdown, compete in athletic events or try your arm at ten pin bowling. Thats just the sporting side of things mind. Play 3 also caters to the musical among you with a game where you can conduct a whole orchestra, jam along with a rock band or demonstrate your skills on the ones and twos as you support an MC.
And theres still more: a game in which you try to win the heart of a domestic cat, a tough boot camp assault course, a beautician simulator, a ghost fighting game and best of all, a game where you play as a huge monkey destroying buildings. The developers really seem to delight in finding great new ways to exploit their little gadget, and Play 3 is proof of that.
