The Syphon Filter series makes its debut on the PSP in Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror, where once again you must take on the role of Gabe Logan, Precision Strike Operative , as Sophisticated terrorists threaten world safety. National Security is so sensitive that Logan is working for a black ops agency that does not actually officially exist. Before you have time to say al-Qaeda, old Gabe is thrown straight into the field to uncover the latest threat to global security - a project known as Dark Mirror. It is only when a mysterious woman from Gabe's past reveals the truth about Red Section, the para-military group that has stolen Dark Mirror that Gabe knows only he can save the world.

With more explosions and machine gun fire than a Rambo movie, Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror takes gamers to several real-world destinations. From Finland to Bosnia, Alaska to Peru, Gabe must recover the elusive Dark Mirror - which sees our hero entangled in the dangerous world of the Secret Services. Armed with more high-tech weapons than you could shake a stick at, including a new rifle which uses the latest darts technology and a range of vision enhancement goggles, Gabe must be at his very best to contend with MI6, the Russian Mafia and the CIA. Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror offers enhanced artificial intelligence, including new behaviour and awareness states that are based on players movements. With 23 single player missions, as well as Bonus missions there should be enough to keep even the most ardent gamer amused.

As well as the single-player adventure, Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror offers gamers an evolving online multiplayer experience, with team based head-to-head action via PVP (player to player). The highest ranking players can play as either Gabe or Enemy Commander, with access to specially designed PVP weapons, gadgets and mines. There are four types of online multiplayer mode for gamers to get their teeth into; Objective, Death Match, Team Death Match and Rogue Agent.
