During the game, you are pitted against all the various types of Aliens (drones, chest-busters, warriors and face-huggers) on your quest to kill the Alien Queen. You have the technology and weaponry available to your Predator which is seen in the various Predator movies. Some of the weapons available are: the shoulder cannon, the disc blade and the spear.
Graphically, the game stayed as faithful as possible to the arcade version. Even by todays standards, Alien Vs. Predator still looks pretty good. The gameplay is enjoyable and reminiscent of many beat em ups from the era (Double Dragon-esque, side-on scrolling).
