Crytek is an interactive entertainment development company founded in 1999 by Cevat, Avni and Faruk Yerli and is located in Coburg, Germany.
Crytek is dedicated to the creation of high-quality video games for PC; Playstation 2; Xbox; and GameCube, and 3D-Game-Technologies such as the CryENGINE game engine.
Software Highlights from Credited Titles
Crytek's first work that SPOnG is aware of is the 2004 title, "Far Cry" (PC).
The company has been involved titles released on the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Xbox. Of these, "Far Cry" (PC), "Crysis" (PC), "Far Cry Instincts Evolution" (Xbox), "Far Cry Instincts: Predator" (Xbox 360) and "Crysis Warhead" (PC) have been best selling titles.
The company is currently involved with the forthcoming 2010 release "Crysis 2" (Xbox 360).
