Get Ready for Miyamoto Webchat

Webchats eh? Weren’t those the things that MTV tried to convince us were a way of getting ‘closer’ to the popstars we all idolised back in 2001? Do they still happen we wondered? Well, it would seem that they do in the world of Nintendo. And not only that, they are actually something to get (mildly) excited about.

Hot on the tail of news that Nintendo’s legendary video game designer Shigeru Miyamoto is to receive a knighthood in France next week, we have just heard directly from Nintendo UK that the creator of Zelda will be giving you the chance to pose the burning questions you really want to ask.

Do you want to know anything more about future plans for the DS or the Revolution? Or about plans to follow up the new types of games that Nintendo is creating, such as Nintendogs, Animal Crossing: Wild World and Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain?

Perhaps most importantly for the hardcore Nintendo fanboy faithful, you could well find out more about the eagerly anticipated New Super Mario Bros, which we reported on yesterday.
