They want you to pay for wallpaper theme.... are you kidding me. Live Marketplace at this point looks like a gimmicky option.

If Nintendo plays its cards right it can dwarf this system like it's something very soft that can crash very easily in to pulp... like cake!

This has "we want to rip your ass and your wallet of so much, oh yeah" written all over it. you pay to see screenshots wtf? is MS planning on withholding screenshots to the press or something?

i just hope Nintendo sees this list not as a incentive to ask like 10-20 euro's for NES-games or something. I would like them to be more like iTunes, keep it cheap and kick some MS ass.

Some people will complain about anything.

Without spending any extra money at all, anyone with an Xbox 360 and a broadband connection can get demos and trailers (potentially saving you 45 quid on buying a game you wouldn't actually want). Or, if you choose to you can pay less than 20p for a theme or gamer picture, or a couple of quid for a pretty decent retro game. Got a ringtone on your mobile, have you? How much did you pay for that?

Clearly, Microsoft charging for, well, ANYTHING is evil.

On the other hand, we all know that Nintendo are the Great Gaming Gods who do things for the Good Of Humanity and will imminently be announcing their FREE service that gives FREE old games, FREE new games and FREE movies - in fact, it will be BETTER THAN FREE, as they will give the Revolution console away FREE and PAY YOU to download things for it. All hail the great Nintendo!

(Note: I've got nothing against Nintendo. I actually quite like them. But seriously... get over the whole "Microsoft = evil, Nintendo = good" idea, it's just childish).

Ahem... this is, quite clearly, like Nintendo's Stars system. You know, the one they never actually put anything good on for any length of time.

Remember, some games will come with some content - the LE of PDZ is apparently coming with some - and it's all optional. Like being a lazy git and getting ripped of by Jamster et al for some crap rather than putting in some graft and making your own damn ringtones and wallpapers. Remember, the system is part of your network! You can use stuff off your PC for free as well! Quit whining!

Trojan horse, I'm telling you... First 360 will invade your living room, next it will move onto your network, and finally the wallet. Once microsoft has you paying fees for themes, they will start selling Windows by the megabyte, then we will have microsoft branded cars, and the imfamous microsoft-car-that-isnt-compatible-with-mac-roads.

Smash TV is only £3.33 (work really well on the xbox joypad);

Mutant Storm Reloaded is only £6.66;

And the most expensive Live Arcade game is £10 (Bankshot Billiards 2TM);

Nice to see they have brought the proces down from the current service, i think they start at £10+ for the current xbox version of Live Arcade.

Don't see what people are moaning about. If you don't want this extra stuff then don't buy it

The theams are only £1.20 and the gamercard pics are 16p. I'd imagine the EA FIFA ones could be quite popular.

Was hoping for some kind of poker game tho, texas hold 'em would be wikkid over live.
