New Nintendo Hardware to be Revealed Next Week?
Aargh! Stop everything – ‘product briefing’ looms.
This morning, Nintendo of Japan has announced a press event to take place in Kyoto between the 15th and 19th of this month, at which it promises to show key product for the coming year.
Promised are playable version of Four Swords for GameCube, Custom Robo, and Pokemon Red and Green, along with everything else big name and first party. Admittedly, not the most thrilling of line-ups.
However, Nintendo’s Japanese press office has been dropping heavy hints to journalists that something much more significant will be on show. Allusions to a pre-E3 glimpse of the firm’s hardware plans have been intriguing journalists across Japan, with many expecting to see Iwata’s fabled hardware/software conglomeration in all its glory.
