Double Dash!! outstrips everything – GameCube dream alive!

In news accompanied by the strumming of angels’ harps for the more ardent of Nintendo fanboys, it has emerged that Mario Kart Double Dash!! was the best-selling game on any system in the US during the critical month of November.

Seeing off the likes of Tony Hawk’s Underground and Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto Double Pack, Nintendo US is now beginning to reap the benefits of its drastic price-cut, with the boosted installed base more than ready to snap up the big Nintendo franchises.

For reference, the top 25 US sales in November are as follows:
