Atomic Planet Headcount Passes Fifty

Following a successful period of growth, UK based Atomic Planet Entertainment Ltd. has announced passing the 50 employee mark.

Following the recent announcement of its major expansion plans, North East based development studio, Atomic Planet Entertainment Limited has now seen its workforce top fifty.

Announcing this great news, Darren Falcus, Managing Director and one of the founding shareholders explained “We are delighted to have added thirty new employees to our team in less than six months and are now looking forward to adding a further fifteen staff to the company by next Easter”.

Atomic Planet Entertainment Limited has also seen its forward order book grow dramatically since May and can now boast a customer base including some of the World’s largest and most respected publishers of video games. The coming months will also see the worldwide launch of Defender of The Crown, a multi-platform game by Cinemaware Inc. of California, of which Atomic Planet Entertainment Limited developed the PC and Xbox conversions.

Atomic Planet staff have also recently commenced work on an anniversary compilation of the world famous MegaMan series of games, this being undertaken for Capcom Inc.

Darren Falcus adds “We have been fortunate to recruit some of the brightest talent in our industry, persuading them to relocate from various parts of the UK and Mainland Europe; we now need to look at relocating the Planet to larger and more appropriate premises in the Tees Valley area.”
