Electronic Arts and Looking Glass Studios form Co-publishing Partnership

System Shock 2 and Flight Unlimited III are First Games in Multi-Title Agreement

SAN MATEO, Calif., May 28, 1998 - Electronic Arts™ (Nasdaq: ERTS), the world's premiere interactive entertainment software company, and Looking Glass Studios, a leading entertainment software developer, today announced a multi-title co-publishing partnership which establishes Looking Glass as Electronic Arts' first-ever external development studio. Under the agreement, Electronic Arts will publish several titles which bear the Looking Glass brand. Financial terms were not disclosed.

System shock 2 and Flight Unlimited III.
System Shock 2, the sequel to the critically-acclaimed System Shock™, is a first-person, 3D science fiction role-playing game for the PC. System Shock 2 will match the role-playing depth of the original while incorporating advanced 3D graphics technologies and artificial intelligence based on the Looking Glass Dark™ engine. Flight Unlimited III, the next title in the award-winning Flight Unlimited™ franchise, is a commercial flight simulation for the PC. Flight Unlimited III will establish a new standard for the general aviation flight sim category.
