Final Dragon Fantasy Quest talk squashed like a Tonberry
Business as usual for RPG behemoths.
During a briefing to press in Tokyo yesterday, Square and Enix declared that there would be no amalgamation of their Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy series, at least for the foreseeable future.
However, it was hinted, by Keiji Honda, current president of Enix, that cameo appearances within games was a distinct possibility.
Furthermore, the upper echelons of Enix Square’s management structure were fully explained for the first time. The overlord and chairman will be Enix chairman Yasihuro Fukushima with Square president Youichi Wada taking the new presidency and Enix president Keiji Honda filling the vice-president’s role.
