Rocksteady is working on new Batman game according to what looked like a CMS screw-up on the GAME website earlier today.
The name of the game and a release window - with pre-order details - found their ways onto the GAME UK website with a 2014 release mooted. The name of the game is....
Well, thanks to videogamer.com
who managed to grab a screenshot before the game details were removed, we know that the name of the game is: Batman: Arkham Knight
. As usual with big games nowadays, we are expecting GameInformer to run an advert masquerading as an editorial piece a bit later.
The now removed GAME detail described the game's details as: an "explosive finale" to the Arkham series. Batman will return to face, "the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect. The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains, including Penguin, Two-Face and Harley Quinn, to destroy The Dark Knight forever."
Also in game will be, "Rocksteady's uniquely designed version of the Batmobile, which is drivable for the first time in the franchise. The addition of this legendary vehicle, combined with the acclaimed gameplay of the Batman Arkham series, offers gamers the ultimate and complete Batman experience as they tear through the streets and soar across the skyline of the entirety of Gotham City."
The game is due out on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
