Minecraft is finally due to hit the PlayStation 3 this week, Mojang has announced.
In a post on PlayStation Blog Europe, the developer said that the game will be available to download from the PlayStation Store as of Wednesday.
Mojang also has PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita editions of the game in development. It hasn't given dates for those yet, but said there will be more news in the New Year.
The PS3 edition will be more or less identical to the other console versions, with DLC texture packs and skins to hit PSN soon after launch. Mojang also hinted that Sony specific skins and texture packs are on the way.
